Make sure to verify that the transfer was successful by logging in to your new Gmail account and checking the shared files in Google Drive, Google Photos, or Google Docs.
Remember that transferring ownership will mean the files will now be managed from your new Gmail account. Any changes made to them will be reflected under the new account. Always ensure you have backups of your data before transferring ownership or making significant changes.
