!!UPDATE!! The migration date is now September 3, 2024
Yellowknife is migrating CBBMail.com email service away from Google. As of September 3 2024, all CBBMail.com email service will be provided through the Yellowknife mail system.
How do I use my CBBMail.com email after the migration?
To continue using your CBBMail account, you will need to access your account with an e-mail program, or with the Yellowknife webmail service.
When we migrate your email account to Yellowknife, we will migrate your existing email from Google to Yellowknife’s mail system. Your CBBMail.com account will have a new password.
You will need to contact the Yellowknife Support Team to obtain your new password.
To setup access to your email account on a mobile device, tablet or similar device, please see this page for the required mail server settings.
We recommend updating your password using the RoundCube webmail client.
If you want to obtain a copy of your Google Contacts, please follow these instructions.
Follow these instructions to restore your Google Contacts to the Yellowknife webmail client.
What will happen to my Google data?
Some people have Google Drive or Google Photos linked to their CBBMail.com email account.
The Google platform will no longer be available through CBBMail.com once the migration process is completed. To continue to use Google services, we will transfer the contents of your Google Drive and Google Photos to a Gmail account.
If you have an existing Gmail account, we can transfer your Google data to it. Please contact the Yellowknife Support Team to start that process.
If you do not have an existing Gmail account, we recommend creating one. Click here for instructions to create a new Gmail account. Once you have created a new Gmail account please contact the Yellowknife Support Team to start the transfer process.
If you do not contact us, we will migrate your data to a new Gmail account so you do not lose your data.
